In this Houdini Tutorial I will quickly go trough the steps of how I created 3d grass in my Earthbound scene. I will use Houdini's procedural workflow to generate grass on any given shape. The Houdini operators and topics we will quickly go over are copy stamping, bend, sweep, Boolean, scatter, transform nodes, and much more!
I will also go over how I import and export geometry between Houdini and Autodesk 3DS Max.
In this tutorial we will model Ness' house from Earthbound using 3dsmax. Just with a few basic principles of extruding shapes, rotating, and duplicating we can make all those fancy shapes on a house.
Worked a little more on the house and environment tonight. Still a ways to go, but it's all about taking those steps.
In this episode I will teach you in just 1 minute how to sculpt Ness' body in zbrush. We will use many of the same principles discussed in the previous lessons. Just mask it, isolate it, and panel loop it. I am grateful to anyone who made it this far. Keep up the great work!
3d modeling can be tricky- especially sculpting hair. In this one minute tutorial I will teach you how to sculpt hair on Ness' head in zbrush. Basically mask the hair area, polygroup the Geo, isolate the geo, apply panels, zremesh to taste, and move the hair around until it looks right. Enjoy!
Earthbound 3d fan art Work in progress. Pushed this project a little further today. Almost done with the Ness model. I am Looking forward to adding all the details, and rendering out some sweet Earthbound scenes.
First make the fence, match the perspective, then build the house, after that make trees, grass, and flowers. Take lots of pictures of Ness Amiibo then upload to Autodesk Recap 360. This will create a good start for our 3d Model. The 3d model of Ness will need to be cleaned up. I will show you how to clean up the model in the next episode.
a little behind the scenes on my next project thing. :)
